“Raining in Manila”
“I keep coming back to where it all began.”
Before the turntables, before the festivals, before the crowds — there was Manila. A home alive with rhythm: aunties singing OPM ballads in the living room, uncles debating the greatest slow jams, cousins dancing to whatever cassette survived inside the boombox.
Music wasn’t just background — it was culture. It was comfort. It was connection. And even after moving to Los Angeles, that Manila heartbeat never left. I kept going back — to the warmth, the sound, the nostalgia — because some places don’t just shape you… they stay with you.
This was the quiet beginning of VER5E — a kid absorbing every note long before the world would hear his own.
“Dang!”
“Colorful, chaotic, and full of life — just like discovering my craft.”
In 2007, curiosity became destiny. What started as fascination became a craft I couldn’t step away from. Nights were traded for transitions. Playlists became puzzles. Rhythm turned into a second language.
And somewhere between the repetition and obsession came a truth: anyone can play music… but not everyone can tell a story.
Guided by humility, confidence, and intention, I developed a sound rooted in Golden Era Hip-Hop and R&B, stretched across Tropical House, OPM, Afrobeats, Bailefunk, Amapiano, and more. I play today’s hits and even country — because great music isn’t about genre; it’s about feeling.
Through Ableton Live, I crafted blends and mashups that made each set personal — original, thoughtful, and unmistakably mine.
“Sugar”
“Sun on my face, rhythm in the air — the world became my dancefloor.”
The first crowds were small. Then the rooms grew. Then the rooms became crowds. Then the crowds became oceans.
From LA to San Diego. From Boracay beaches to Coachella fields.
There was the massive Boracay day party — over 10,000 people dancing under the sun with the ocean behind them. There were two unforgettable years hosting and DJing the State Farm Hospitality Tent at Coachella — where artists, industry leaders, and fans converged under the desert sky.
And then came the brand activations — each with its own atmosphere to shape: Tommy Hilfiger, Macy’s, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Red Bull, HP, Oakley, 7 For All Mankind, BMW.
Big names. High expectations. Every event approached with the same mindset: care, clarity, and craftsmanship.
“Do It”
“Groove, color, and culture — blended into one.”
I’m not just an open-format DJ — I’m a cultural translator.
Hip-Hop and R&B are my heartbeat. Manila colors my spirit. LA sharpens my rhythm.
My palette moves globally — Tropical House, OPM, Afrobeats, Bailefunk, Amapiano, throwbacks, modern hits — and yes, even country. Because music isn’t limited; it’s limitless.
My sets are journeys where transitions feel effortless yet engineered, and where the right song can reshape an entire atmosphere.
Then come the blends — the mashups that surprise a room, the edits that make people turn and say: “No way he just mixed that.”
My mixes don’t just move bodies. They move stories forward.
“The Light”
“Love, intention, and energy — I see it all when I’m behind the decks.”
DJing is an act of service. It’s listening before leading. Feeling before directing. Breathing with the room before lifting it.
Whether it’s a rooftop in LA, a luxury gala, a private event, or a destination celebration across the world, I bring the same dedication every time: care, clarity, intention.
Crowds remember the night.
Clients remember the execution.
People remember the feeling.
“The World Is Yours”
“Write your story, own your legacy.”
Today, I stand as an artist shaped by two homelands and a lifetime of curiosity. A DJ who blends cultures as naturally as I blend genres. A creator who knows music is identity, memory, connection, and story.
Every stage I step on continues the journey that started in Manila… was sharpened in LA… and is written now through every mix, every transition, and every crowd I move.
Create moments worth remembering — one mix at a time.
